It's the "stranded on a desert island" question! You can only take one thing from each category. What is it and why are you taking it?

1. A food that can be planted and regrown. Watermelon. It's food, it's water. It has seeds to grow more!

2. A person you haven't seen in a long time. Penny. We were good friends in roll call at school, but barely saw each other the rest of the day. I know she read Green Jellybeans and liked it...

3. A book you (were) read as a child. The Best Nest. Good memories.

4. A celebrity. Benjamin McKenzie. Why not?

5. The entire episode run of a television show (it's a very nice desert island). Er... The X Files. So many good, funny, scary, tantalising, conspiracy-theorising episodes. Plus, nine seasons... I could be on that island for a long time.

1. What is your favourite song right now? Why? I don't think I have one. Haven't been listening to any particular song lately.
2. What genre of music makes you the happiest? Alternative Rock - which covers a multitude of different sounds, really.
3. What would you name your band and what kind of music would you play? I came up with names for bands when I was a teenager. The one I remember most clearly is "Armadillo". There was also "S.P.I.T" (Stupid People In Tuxedos) which featured in my book Green Jellybeans. Kind of music? Armadillo was about the weird rock. SPIT was a coverband.
4. What is your favourite lyric of all time? Why? Er... don't have one. :P
5. What band/artist could you never live without? Why? I probably could live without them... but, uh, for loyalty's sake (& because I'll be upset if they split)... POWDERFINGER!
