Who knew a baby ox could be so important?

platysseusThis is all dream-related. I just woke up from, perhaps, the best Supernatural dream I've ever had. Except it wasn't based in the show; it was just the actors. Perhaps at a con, or some other strange event. I can't remember the start very well, but it was the end that was most entertaining.
Misha Collins had a baby ox. He brought it with him to a fan event and showed it off to everyone. At some point he unfortunately had to leave for a while, and he left the baby ox in the care of Jared and Jensen...
But they lost it. It ran off into the bush, and the boys set up a few search parties of fans to try to find it. My group spotted something exactly the same colour as the ox, but it turned out to be an orangutan, and it was not happy to see us. We ran for our lives.
When we got back to the building, Jensen had found the ox. When it was safe, he took the ox outside and played with it. Jared was on 'crowd control' - doing a pretty good job too. ;)
Jensen held two things - a timer, and some other device (I can't remember if I knew what it was in the dream) - and set the baby ox to do some races... with himself. He would say "Ready, Set" but the ox had run off before he said "Go". Every time. The crowd of fans loved it.
Then Misha returned. He was not happy to see what Jensen was doing, and really not happy that the ox barely recognised him. Jensen was the ox daddy now. :D
But Jensen had to let the ox go. Misha left with the ox, and I came up to Jensen and we talked for a bit. We knew each other quite well, and I pointed out that the top of the ox's head resembled a platypus (afaik, that's nowhere near true, but hey... dream). Jensen thought about that for a bit, and agreed. I told him that's why he had such an affinity with the ox, and the palm of his hand touched the palm of my hand... and nothing else happened.
Oh, except that Jensen and I went to the shops or something, where we met up with Danneel. And then Jensen asked me about my trilogy, and I told him how it was going. I said his character was currently stuck in 2nd-Draft-land, and he explained to Danneel what that meant [character is just following the 1st Draft storyline]. Then I said I could change that up a bit by introducing a baby ox. Jensen smiled at that.
And that's about where I woke up all smiley myself. :D
PS: Platypus? That's my nickname online (started at MinasTirith.com), and part of the reason why "platy" is in my LJ name. ;)
