I just took part in my first ever #writechat at Twitter.... It started at 5am (for me). It'll go on for another 90mins.

But, now that the sun's up, I should be getting to bed. ;)

Today's topic was "Editing". I tweeted 17 times during the chat. Some people responded to me. Five people started following me! All fellow writers! Haha!

saiariddle (& other Twittery writers), you should join in if you can in future. It starts at 12pm PST on Sundays. :)

Hmmm... sounds interesting. What do you have to do to start doing the chat? Just write #wirechat in your updates?

You know the trending topics thing in your right sidebar? Just search for #writechat, and then save the search. Everytime you add to the discussion, you'll need to put #writechat in your update so others can see it. Even though it stopped six hours ago, people are still adding to it.

It can be confusing, with all these people talking at once, but you don't need to pay attention to everyone. ;) The host says that 188 writers took part in this last one (over the 3 hours). *faints* ;)

I should be able to stick around for the next two... When mum returns from overseas, it'll be less likely. :( If only it was on US Sunday night. That'd be easier to wake up for. ;)
